ミソフォニアとADHDは同じものですか?
While it’s possible for ADHD to occur comorbidly with misophonia, they are not the same thing.
ザ Mayo Clinic definition of ADHD:
“Adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a mental health disorder that includes a combination of persistent problems, such as difficulty paying attention, hyperactivity and impulsive behavior. “
While there isn’t a final definition of misophonia yet, the closest thing we have is a paper by some of the world’s leading misophonia researchers called the ミソフォニアの合意定義.
Its General Description states:
「ミソフォニアとは、特定の音やその音に関連する刺激に対する耐性が低下する障害です。これらの刺激は「トリガー」として知られ、不快または苦痛を感じさせられ、多くの人には見られない強い否定的な感情的、生理的、行動的反応を引き起こす傾向があります。」
Therefore, those with ADHD may experience sensory sensitivities, including misophonia, but they are two different co-occurring conditions.
